Originally built as a CLI project for myself, this ended up with a Flask & JQuery powered front-end, international & timezone support, and subscription levels powered by Stripe.
Uses a combination of Google Maps API data to calculate average & current travel time, which triggers an instant notification.
Built a basic Ionic mobile app for push notifications, it was never published.
A super lightweight (25kB packaged) Chrome extension that adds a context menu item to send the selected link to Transmission.
20x smaller & less resource intensive than comparable extensions.
Designed and wrote the front-end for an 'AirBnB style' web application, with both a public and internal site. Uses a private npm module to share React components between internal and public sites.
Wrote a Python web scraper microservice using BS4 and Docker as part of the back end.
To contrast the old site and to maximize performance, I decided on a barebones approach using no JavaScript and no frameworks. This site consists of a single HTML page and a handful of SCSS, NPM is used to compile & prefix the HTML & SCSS.
